I’m Nate. Twenty years in, mostly building the visualization and dashboard infrastructure behind a long-lived product. Lately: shaping AI agents — Codex, Claude, Cursor, retrieval — into engineering leverage that doesn’t bury the codebase. I work best close to founders, on things that need to feel built, not just shipped. My strongest work has been at Spider Strategies, where I spent 15 years building Dash, Spider Impact, and the D3/SVG/canvas primitives behind charts, gauges, trees, maps, exports, and dashboard editing.
